                                    July 24rd
We got to climb the volcano. There were good times made
then. Haha. Once we got to the plateu, me, Emily, Amanda,
and Pastor Mark stayed back, and the rest of the team climbed
the cone. Well...while we were all waiting for them to climb the
cone, there was this rain cloud that came over us. It didn't really
sprinkle...it just started to 'spit' a little bit. So we just stayed there
...thinking that the cloud would pass us by...but haha...it didn't.
All of a sudden it started pouring down rain! So me, Emily, Amanda,
and Pastor Mark ran to the nearest, and only tree around. It was
hillarious, cause we were under this little tree....that barely had any
leaves, plus was surrounded by mass piles of horse poop. Good times.
haha.

We then just decided to climb down instead of just sit there underneath
the tree. Once we got down to the bottom...me and Emily saw some
chickens making some eggs. Hahaha. It was so funny. Woooooo!!!
I had never seen chickens do it before. 'Twas quite hilarious if you ask
me. So that was pretty much all that happened that day. I think we might
have went to the jade factory that day too. and perhaps shopping.

It was a very lovely day.

                  July 22, 2004

We did a total of 4 sites. Again, many people got
saved. I gave my testimony at the 3rd site. It was
really awesome cause I just went up there like it was
nothing. It was as though it was a normal thing for me to do.

To get to our last site, we had to travel down this canal.

When our last site was done, we walked down to the ocean.

It was so beautiful!! Me, Kayla, Hillary, Danielle, Beth, and
Joy played around in the water for a while. Ah. It was so much
fun. I could've just stayed there forever. Once the sun set, we
went back to our hotel. I took a shower right once I got back.
It was so great to get the sand out of my underwear, and just off
of me completely. Then we had dinner and hangtime.

It was a very lovely day.

                         July 21, 2004

We did a total of 8 sites today! Yeah. It was pretty
freaking sweet! God used me at all of the sites. Ok....
so it's actually day 4 and such, and I can't really
remember everything that happened. We ministered to
about 1,500 people that day, and about 800 of them
got saved! It was a super day. I almost got this one girl
saved. It was so awesome!

                                  July 20, 2004

Note: This is the exact same entry as my journal. The past posts
haven't been the exact words from my journal, but this one will be.

Hmmm....well I guess you know what I did to begin the day! Uh huh.
I woke up and got a shower!!! Wow! haha. Ok, so anyways, our very
first site was an elementary school. It was the one we went to last year,
the one with the stage. To start it off, we did the limbo, then we did the
chicken dance. Then someone gave their testimony and then we did the
drama. After the drama, we did the net. I can't really remember everything
that happened at the first 5 sites, but at the 6th site, I gave my testimony
and stuff. I actually wasn't really nervous or anything. God just gave me
the words to say. It was so awesome!

After the net, me, Emily, and Adrea were talking to these guys. They wanted
prayer for like intelligence in school and so that they would want to go to
church and stuff. I prayed and Adrea translated. That site was just totally
awesome. I had so much energy, and God just used me there. It was a
really super site. And the whole day was just incredible.

When we had some free time after dinner, I was walking back to the room
to get my swimsuit on and everything. Well, stupid Nathan decided to just
push me in. Oh, he was getting something for that. So later after it was about
time to get out, I took his Johnny Bravo towel and decided to put it around
me like a cape. Then I was like, "LOOK GUYS!! I can fly!!!" And I flew
into the pool with the towel on. It was soooooo hilarious!! Nathan even
gave me props for that one. haha. Funny stuff.

First school site.

Last school site. Danielle had a bunch of people coming up to her wanting her
autograph. This is the site where we were all really hyper. And I gave my
testimony here. Yay!

                           July 19th, 2004

We woke up, ate breakfast, and then had our quiet time.
When we were done, we headed off to a juvenile center.
The guys there really weren't open. I don't even remember
if any of them got saved or not. They were a tough crowd.
It's hard for those guys to really open up when they are
around all their "amigos." Maybe if it was more, one-on-one,
then it would be different. I don't know. But we did end up
passing a few Bibles out. So hopefully that helped some.

Once we were finished at that site, we traveled all the way to
South Coast. It took around 2 hours to actually get there. I
fell asleep for a little bit on the bus, so that was nice. We got
there, and just chilled. A couple of us took a swim, and others
just sat around the dining area...or perhaps they stayed in the
air-conditioned rooms. That was a very nice feature.

The first day wasn't all that exciting. I do believe that the
juvenile is the only site we did. (I forgot to write about the day....
so I'm trying to remember everything that happened off the top
of my head). The first day is never that difficult. It's sort of just
a heads up for what to expect, you know?

This is our pool. Although the water was a bit warm, it was very nice.
We've had some good times in this pool. "LOOK! I CAN FLY!!!!!"

Hillary asleep on the bus.
